We now have 102 submissions for EclipseCon 2006. I don’t think that’s all.
So, my questions is: Do we get 150 till November, 1st?

Are you interested in a plug-in that integrates OpenOffice into Eclipse? The guys at ubion.ORS have released their Office Integration Editor Plugin under the LGPL.
The plug-in integrates OpenOffice into Eclipse without the need for OLE under Windows. It also adds wizards for creating OpenOffice documents and an alternate API called NOA (Nice Office Access), which you can use to write your own extension.
WOW
Carolyn MacLeod just posted a new screenshot of Eclipse on Windows Vista. It just looks awesome!
She got a new graphics card that is powerful enough to display all the complicated features.
Interesting news for all PHP people. Zend is going to join the Eclipse Foundation as a Strategic Developer.
They intend to propose a project for PHP development.
It’s so easy to become one.
Just promote it in your blog or on your website. See this page for details.
I hope to attend the EclipseCon 2006 at Santa Clara Convention Center next year. Unfortunately, it’s really hard for me to get a budget for this from my current employer.
However, my goal is to attend next year, even if I have to pay the whole trip myself. I’m sure it will be a good investment. There are already some great topics in the submission pipe.
