So this is my first day at EclipseCon 2006. It’s really great so far. I enjoyed meeting a lot people already. The morning was really easy for me. I  joined the JumpStart meeting for new members. Well, I’m not a new member but I didn’t sign up for any tutorial. Thus, I thought it might be a good place to talk to some new members.

Right now I’m sitting in the Eclipse Members’ Meeting. We are a little bit late because a lot people are still at lunch. However, we are starting now to finish on time at 5pm.

Hey, I just arrived at the Hyatt Regency hotel. It’s a nice place. I met Mik Kersten in the shuttle bus from the airport. He is also staying at the Hyatt. There seems to be a registration today. I’ll check that out. Last but not least, there’s Ian’s blogger party tonight.

You can register today. I already got my badge and a lot of other great giveaways including a nice committer shirt. I met Chris, Denis, Ward and Wayne there and after some cookies we decided to get a beer. Right now I’m going downstairs again to meet Ian and all the other bloggers out there.
