I hope to attend the EclipseCon 2006 at Santa Clara Convention Center next year. Unfortunately, it’s really hard for me to get a budget for this from my current employer. 🙁
However, my goal is to attend next year, even if I have to pay the whole trip myself. I’m sure it will be a good investment. There are already some great topics in the submission pipe.
Tell me about it. I am giving a tutorial at EclipseCon, and not only was my employer not willing to give me any financial support to attend, I’ve got to take it off as vacation as well. Fortunately, I’ve decided to bite the bullet (not the least of which is because I’m already on the tutorial list 😉 but because I think it’s going to take off in the future.
