For the first time ever I’ll be attending JavaOne next week. I’ll speak together with Shaun Smith from Oracle about Polyglot Persistence with EclipseLink JPA.
Polyglot Persistence: EclipseLink JPA for NoSQL, Relational, and Beyond
(Tuesday, Oct 2, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Parc 55 – Cyril Magnin I)
Yes, there will be a demo running EclipseLink on Gyrex OSGi connecting to MongoDB. 🙂
I’m currently in Frankfurt waiting at the gate. I’ll arrive Friday night in San Francisco and will stay till next Friday (Oct. 5th). If you are around, interested in a chat (about runtimes, OSGi, other stuff that matters) and/or want to grab a beer please ping me!

Happy to get our path to cross here in San Francisco Gunnar….
I live and work in Union Square – so shouldn’t be a problem getting our paths to cross for coffee or an after-conference happy hour beverage.
I’m the group host and moderator of the LinkedIn Eclipse Group – I am also working on my own business intelligence tool I’m hoping to develop, release and get funding for.
Always interested in having discussions that might lead to opportunities to leverage an introduction into a “mutually beneficial, strategic, and productive business relationship” (for me – that’s what this social networking stuff is all about.)
Feel free to email me – and we’ll work on gettng our paths to cross.
Hope you enjoy the conference – and have the opportunity to get out and enjoy some of our wonderful city.
Hope to hear from you.
